Oops...a typo. Senator Patrick Leahy of VT wants to hold hearings about the supposed spying of the government on their own citizens. Of course, this would be the same Senator Leahy that was kicked off the Senate Intelligence committee for leaking information to the media and other sources so perhaps he has a vested interest in making sure that the government can't spy on people.
Or he's just being a hypocritical prick who's dancing for the cameras like a typical monkey-boy DemoncRat.
Leahy lecturing Alberto Gonzalez about the legality of intelligence gathering and the security of that data is like Kennedy lecturing Sam Alito about ethics. Just kinda rings hollow with me and I expect with the majority of Americans as well.
