The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians have released a statement that says that Ward Churchill's claim of membership is fraudulent.
"The United Keetoowah Band would like to make it clear that Mr. Churchill IS NOT
a member of the Keetoowah Band and was only given an honorary 'associate
membership' in the early 1990s because he could not prove any Cherokee
ancestry."
That should clear the way for the review board that is examining Mr. Churchill's position at University of Colorado to fire him. Of course, being that he's a liberal snot, he'll claim that it's all biased, or some other such nonsense and then turn around and sue the university. Or his ouster will prompt protests from ignorant students with skulls full of mush claiming that his firing violated his freedom of speech. Apparently that would be his freedom to speak lies about his own history, resume, and life in order to get a position. But that's ok in their eyes. If you're a liberal.
