Charges against Marine 2nd Lieutenant Ilario Pantano were dropped today. As I'd written earlier, the charges seemed overblown, and apparently the evidence did not support the single accuser's story that Pantano made the Iraqi men kneel down and then he shot them in the back. All other evidence and witnesses advised otherwise.
