While you'd expect some sort of stupidity from someone as liberal-minded as Churchill, this takes the cake. Apparently Mr. Churchill has threatened 'academic misconduct' charges against a Lamar University professor who accuses Churchill of misrepresenting historical facts in an essay about the smallpox epidemic amongst Mandan Indians in 1837.
Apparently Mr. Churchill doesn't believe that anything he does should be questioned or even examined with a critical eye. If you look at his reaction to an investigation into an art piece that Churchill claims as his own, you'd have to agree. Apparently, he 'created' a piece that he represented as his own, but it certainly looks a lot like another artists, who created his a long time ago. You be the judge:
